Good morning!!!!
I'm sorry I didn't write you yesterday night. I arrived to the hotel exhausted from such a wonderful and amazing day. Every day I enjoy the time here more and more. I think it will make me sad when I will have to leave this great people.
Last Wednesday we received the welcoming from the step by step classroom. And.... Woooo!!! The students and teachers were dressed again with the traditional blouses and the traditional Romanian custom. I have a challenge for you! Would you be able to remember what it consist of? Write me in the comments of this post which are these two ingredients and what represent.
Once the teachers and I took place in the class, the lesson started. Students were seated in three groups formed by 8 or 9. The first activity consist in making a puzzle all together as a cooperative work. The first team to finish the puzzle became a winner and had to follow a path that end with a nice surprise.
Can you see the puzzle?? It's the Earth seen by two sides. The one that it's alive and the one that is being destroyed. Thus, the teacher took a big ball that represent the Earth and show them the sad face. It was full of rubbish, litter, masks...so she asked them to find the way to make it happy.
She gave them some sheets with good actions they have already said orally and stick them in the Earth on a cardboard. In this way they found the way to make it happy. I had to take a photo of us together. I like when the Earth is happy and clean!! 😁
We start with the workshops!!! Students continued working in a cooperative learning in three groups by the name of 'engineers', 'cooks' and 'gardeners'. These workshops consisted in the development of a traditional meal: cabbage, how to plant onions and finally how to build a windmill with recycling resources. Thanks to these workshops we could work the recycling, the care of the environment and the healthy lifestyle.
Workshops were veeeery fun!!! You can see in the pictures.
To celebrate the 'Flamenco day' they surprise us with a dance and handmade Spanish omelettes.
They were so yummy!!!
In the afternoon, we went with the teacher Adina and her husband to visit some cultural places. Can you get an idea of the cool things we saw?
On the one hand, we were watching mud volcanoes in activity. It was pretty amazing! It's impress me very much and the landscape were wonderful!
Then, we arrived to ecofriendly houses made of recycling materials, car glasses, glass bottles of different colours, wood, etc. The houses were pretty cool!
Lastly, they brought us to an air museum placed in the middle of the forest and on the top of a hill. The views were incredible! But it got dark and we had to go back.
I finished very very tired but grateful and delightful at the same time. Do you like this adventure as much as I do?
It's time to go to the school to experience our last day there. I will tell you later. Do you want to continue knowing about it?
Send you lots of kisses! 😘
